Following on from the ‘Techniques for Lighting Glass’ section we now look at the different options for the glass itself and what finishes are available to achieve lighting effects.
Sandblasting, etching, engraving and baked-on-enamel glass is just a few of the extra services that Vision Group offer. Detailing the glass in this way will still allow a large amount of light to transmit through the glass, whilst at the same time maintain privacy and enhance the possibilities for lighting. Designs can be blasted onto glass through a vinyl which can be used to create either a negative or positive image for bespoke and original designs. Personalised etching of Horizontal Stripes, Patterns, Waves, Seascapes, Flowers, Leaves and People are just some of the possibilities. Typical applications often include glass lighting enhancement for Showers, Balustrades and Partitions.
